Who we are
Lumen & Ink builds and maintains websites for med spas and aesthetic clinics. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights over it. If you have any question, email hello@lumenandink.com.
What we collect
When you ask for a free sample we collect what you give us in the brief — your business name and description, your town, and your email address — plus, if you paste one, your existing website URL. If you use the grader we collect the URL you submit. If you subscribe, your payment is handled by PayPal; we receive a confirmation and your billing email, but we never see or store your card details. We also collect basic, non-identifying analytics (pages viewed, rough device type) to keep the site working.
Why we use it
To build and deliver your sample site, to email you the private link and updates about it, to make the changes you request, to take payment if you subscribe, and to respond to you. We do not sell your personal information, ever. For visitors in the UK, EU and similar regions, our lawful bases are performing the service you asked for (your brief) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.
Who we share it with
Only the providers needed to run the service: PayPal (billing), our hosting and email-delivery providers, and the AI providers that help generate your draft site (your brief text is processed to build the sample). Each handles data on our behalf under their own terms. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your brief and sample while there's a live conversation and for a reasonable period after, and billing records for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below); we'll honour it unless we're legally required to retain something.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of non-essential emails at any time. To do any of these, email hello@lumenandink.com and we'll action it. If you're in the UK/EU you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
We keep cookies to the minimum needed to make the site and your portal work. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
